This Privacy Policy explains how VeggieDoc ("the App", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use our mobile application on iOS and Android. We are committed to collecting the minimum personal data necessary to provide the service.

VeggieDoc is a mobile app that diagnoses plant and leaf diseases from photos you take, using artificial intelligence, and then provides organic and chemical treatment plans and care guides. It is intended for home and hobby gardeners and is not directed at children.
We design for minimal personal data ("PII") by default and do not ask for more than we need.
Important: When you request a diagnosis, the photo you submit is transmitted to a third-party AI provider, Plant.id (operated by Kindwise s.r.o.), for analysis. This means your photo leaves our systems and is processed by that provider in order to identify the plant and any possible disease.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by not submitting photos and/or by deleting your account.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers ("processors") who help us operate the App:

We operate from Türkiye, our company is established in the United States, and our database, authentication, and storage are hosted by Supabase in the Asia-Pacific region. Plant.id (Kindwise s.r.o.) is based in the European Union. As a result, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.
Under the GDPR (EU) and the KVKK (Türkiye — Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data), you have the right to:

VeggieDoc is intended for home and hobby gardeners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls and row-level security on our database so that you can only access your own records. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
The App may show affiliate product suggestions (for example, gardening supplies). If you tap such a link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These purchases happen on external third-party websites that have their own privacy policies and terms; we are not responsible for those sites.
VeggieDoc provides AI-generated suggestions for informational purposes only and is NOT a substitute for a professional agronomist or plant-health expert. Treatment suggestions, including chemical products, are used at your own risk. Always read product labels and follow all safety and toxicity warnings. We make no warranty of accuracy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
